- Jerry Greenwell – Chief Executive Officer
With more than 25 years of experience in the public human and social services fields and 18 years of professional personnel experience, Jerry is responsible for ensuring that CPS HR delivers the highest quality of services to its clients as well as maintaining the agency’s growth and profitability. He has expertise in training and staff development, performance management, recruitment and selection and organizational development. Not only is he certified as a professional in human resources (IPMA-CP) by the International Personnel Management Association and by the Society for Human Resources Management (PHR), but also he is an alumnus of Leadership Sacramento and a senior fellow with the American Leadership Forum. He is a certified trainer for IPMA Competency Training and a member of the IPMA Professional Development Committee. Jerry has a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Utah and a master's degree in Management and Organizational Development from John F. Kennedy University.
- Linda Kegerreis – Chief Workforce Officer
With more than 25 years experience working in the public sector, Linda leads the Human Resources team at CPS HR. Formerly the head of Human Resources at the City of Ventura, Linda, in that role, provided leadership to a full-service human resources department in a charter city. Prior to working for Ventura, she led HR and risk management functions for a medium-sized county government at the County of Yolo. Linda has worked at both the city and county levels in California, Nevada and Arizona. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Texas Christian University and an M.Ed. in Counseling and Guidance from University of Arizona.
- Tim Howald – Senior Practice Leader, Federal Practice
As Managing Director Tim directs consulting projects for Federal, State, and Local governments, as well as for non-profit organizations. Before that, Tim was the CFO of the company, overseeing the finance, procurement, and contract compliance operations. Prior to joining CPS HR, Tim owned and operated his own business. Before founding his business, Tim was the Chief Financial Officer for a global investment management firm, where he was responsible for financial and investment accounting, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management. His background also includes investment management consulting assignments involving large public and private retirement plans, endowments, and foundations. Tim earned his Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has also earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
- Jeff Hoye – Managing Director, Talent Management
As Managing Director, Jeff is responsible for strategic planning, business development, product/service delivery and P&L responsibility. Jeff's experience includes national and international experience in the areas of organizational strategy and development and large systems change, working with senior leadership teams, boards of directors and management utilizing various teaming structures and innovative strategies. Jeff is a member of the International Public Management Association for Human Resources and certified as an executive coach and member of the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches. He received his bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting from the University of South Florida and his MBA with an emphasis in organizational behavior from the University of Colorado.
- Geralyn Gorshing – Manager, Marketing and Communications
In her 20 years of experience, Geralyn has acquired a vast array of core competencies, including product marketing, brand management, advertising and promotional programs, public and media relations and marketing performance tracking and improvement. Prior to joining CPS HR, she was employed by Vari-Lite/Genlyte in Dallas, Texas where she served as Marketing Manager and, previously, Corporate Communications Manager. Before Vari-Lite, Geralyn was the Marketing Services Manager for Milltronics, where she developed marketing communications for four product groups. Geralyn received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Administration from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.
- David Powell – Manager, Information Technology
As Manager of Information Technology, David is responsible for the technology strategy and information infrastructure of CPS HR. Prior to joining CPS HR Consulting, David was a National Technology Leader with Deloitte Services LP where he was the strategic leader of its National Telecommunications Services Division. In this role, he helped the business through innovative communications and collaboration technologies. His background includes national and international experience leading global teams in IT Infrastructure and end-user support services with particular expertise in telecommunications, networking and unified communications. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from CSU, Sacramento and an MBA with emphasis in Technology Management from the University of California at Davis.
