- Wendell Phillips has been appointed Labor Relations and Benefits Administrator for Butte County.
Mr. Phillips most recently served as Human Resources Officer for Yuba County Superior Court, and previously served as President of the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs' Association.
- George Dondero II has been appointed Executive Director for the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission.
Mr. Dondero was most recently Executive Director for the Calaveras Council of Governments for the past seven years.
- Marin County has appointed Alex McIntyre as its new Chief Assistant County Administrative Officer.
Mr. McIntyre leaves his position of Town Manager for the Town of Tiburon. His start date is April 3, 2006.
- Mary Snyder has been appointed the new District Engineer for the
Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District. Her start date is March 23, 2006.
- The City of Brentwood has appointed Steve Kersevan as its new Traffic Engineering Manager. Mr. Kersevan's start date is April 3, 2006.
- The City of Peoria, Arizona has announced the appointment of Glen Van Nimwegan as its new Community Development Director.
Mr. Van Nimwegan leaves his position as Assistant Director of Planning and Development for the City of Chandler, AZ. His start date is April 3rd.
- Dan Schwarz, former Executive Officer of LAFCO Napa County, has been appointed the new Assistant City Manager for the City of Rohnert Park.
- Brad Banner, former Environmental Health Director for Placer County, has been appointed Environmental Health Director for Butte County.
His start date is March 1st, 2006.
- Jerry Forte, who was serving in the position of COO/Interim CEO for Colorado Springs Utilities, has been appointed on January 19th
as their Chief Executive Officer.
- Kristine Recchia, former Director of Personnel Services for the City of Santa Fe Springs, has been appointed Human Resources Director
for the City of Tustin. Her start date is February 6, 2006.
- Sam Joumblat, former Deputy City Auditor for the City of Long Beach, has been appointed Revenue Manager for the Port of Long Beach.
His start date is February 6, 2006.
- Rod Uyeda, formerly Commander of Pasadena Police Department, has been appointed Chief of Police in Manhattan Beach.
- Ruth Lincoln, formerly the Director of Health Services for Lake County, has been appointed Assistant Health Services Director by Sonoma County.
- Katie Lichtig, formerly the City Manager in the City of Mailbu, has accepted the position of Assistant City Manager with the City of Beverly Hills.
- Stephanie Reich, formerly of the City of Santa Monica, has been appointed the new Urban Design Officer in the City of Long Beach.
- Michael Malone has been selected as its new Water Distribution Superintendent for the City of Sacramento, Department of Utilities.
Previously, Mr. Malone was the Maintenance Supervisor with the San Jose Water Company.
- Louis Toccoy Dudley has been appointed as the new Director of Water and Resource Conservation for Butte County.
- Barry Shioshita has been appointed County Administrative Officer with Siskiyou County, effective mid-January 2006.
He is currently the County Administrator with Otero County in Colorado.
- Cynthia Stafford, formerly a Personnel Director for the Dept. of Public Works in the City of LA, has been appointed
the Assistant Director of Administration for the Port of Long Beach.
- Effective January 1st 2006, Eileen Teichert becomes the City Attorney for the City of Sacramento. She is
currently the Supervising Deputy City Attorney for the City of Riverside.
